Ferrari South Bay is proud to share that Ferrari earned two of the most coveted honors at the Top Gear Awards 2026. The groundbreaking F80 was crowned Hypercar of the Year, while the exceptional 296 Speciale claimed Supercar of the Year—bringing Ferrari’s remarkable tally to 21 Top Gear awards in 23 years, including an eighth Supercar of the Year title.

Hypercar of the Year

With production limited to 799 units, the Ferrari F80 marks a new era of Prancing Horse supercars, joining icons such as the GTO, F40 and LaFerrari. Drawing extensively from Formula 1 and endurance racing technology, the F80 delivers an intensely visceral and highly sophisticated driving experience, showcasing Ferrari’s latest achievements in performance and innovation.

Supercar of the Year

The 296 Speciale continues Ferrari’s legacy of special-series berlinettas, following the Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale and 488 Pista. It sets a new benchmark for driving engagement with heightened track capability, advanced aerodynamics, reduced weight, and an exceptional blend of mechanical precision and modern performance technologies.

The 296 Speciale raises the bar yet again in all the key measurables, and plenty that aren’t algorithmic. A sublime mix of analogue and digital.
