The F12berlinetta was already a potent road car but Ferrari took it to the extreme with the development of this Special Series version dubbed the F12tdf, which pays homage to the Tour de France, the legendary endurance race that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and 60s. While it may possess the same V12 powered, front engine, rear wheel drive configuration as its predecessor, it offers a much more visceral driving experience due to numerous engine, gearbox, vehicle dynamic, and aerodynamic innovations derived from Ferrari’s F1 engineering experience. The result is an astonishing 769bhp, almost double the aerodynamic efficiency and 47% more downforce at 200 km/h. To make the additional power more manageable and improve responsiveness, a rear wheel steering system known as “Virtual Short Wheelbase system” was also introduced for the first time on a road car. 

Production of the F12tdf is very limited, only 799 examples will be built for a select group of Ferrari loyalists.

With its output boosted to 800 cv, 60 more than the F12berlinetta, the 812 Superfast is the most powerful and fastest road-going Ferrari ever built (with the exception, of course, of the rear-engined special limited-series 12-cylinders).

The overall power curve of the 812 Superfast rises constantly to the 8,500 rpm maximum giving the occupants the feeling of limitless power and acceleration.

As with all special series vehicle, production are extremely limited. Only 499 of the worlds most dedicated Ferraristas were given the opportunity to own a LaFerrari, with a 500th car auctioned off at Finali Mondiali to benefit the reconstruction of Central Italy in the aftermath of the 2016 earthquakes.

The Ferrari 812 GTS marks the triumphant return of the legendary front-mounted V12 convertible after a 50-year hiatus since the introduction of the 1969 365 GTS4 “Daytona Spider”. This new drop-top was developed from the 812 Superfast with the goal of retaining the exhilarating feeling of speed and power delivered by the berlinetta version but with the added luxury and comfort of allowing occupants to bask in the unique soundtrack of the naturally-aspirated V12. The Ferrari engineers accomplished this feat by integrating a retractable hardtop, which does not impinge upon the interior dimensions, thus maintaining the donor car’s roomy cockpit.

The best of both worlds. The Portofino M is both a coupe and a convertible. The retractable hard top opens in as little as 14 seconds.
